RML Films was founded in September 2005 by Rita-Marie Lawlor. The company is expanding and has several projects in the pipeline. So far RML Films has produced three feature films, three TV Pilots, several short films and a feature documentary focused on female boxing in Ireland.

Rita-Marie Lawlor - Writer/director/actor/producer

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Rita-Marie Lawlor attended Colaiste Dhulaigh from 2002 - 2004 and graduated with a B TEC HND in film production. She was awarded a distinction in directing and producing along with a best film award.

RML Films was founded in 2005 and has developed independent films such as Apollo Music Club, I Shagged Ronaldo!, Remember Me?, A Scare, Less Ordinary, Six Pack & Crack, Co Producing feature documentary Gloves & Glory and most recent feature film The Last Show. Rita-Marie has three feature scripts in development and several short scripts. Three short films were aired on RTÉ's Shortscreen as well as TV in England, Australia and New Zealand. 

 As well as filmmaking, Rita-Marie also runs her own media business at www.rmlmedia.com She has been working on film sets since 1996 doing extra work, production assistant, second camera op, locations manager and stills photographer. She is also a qualified Pilates Instructor.


 

Ashlie S. Christie – Producer/actor/ Assistant Director

Born in Los Angeles, California and a Producer at RML FILMS. Besides producing, Ashlie has experience in Production Coordination, Assistant Directing, Costume Supervision, Acting, and a myriad of other positions behind camera.  The most recent project- "The Last Show"- Ashlie was able to sink her teeth into an AD role and bring production to a close two days ahead of an already grueling 10-day scheduled shoot. The cast and crew left tired and happy and all shots were covered!  When Ash isn't involved in a production she is busy writing and planning her next big achievement.
